I had a pretty enjoyable Christmas stay! The location is great, perched on a hill with lovely views over the water, and it’s super close to town. The friendly owners really made me feel welcome too, which was a nice touch. I also loved that my room was warm and inviting when I arrived late on Christmas Eve. Plus, having real milk in the fridge for coffee was a pleasant surprise!
Now, onto the negatives. The place felt quite dated and a bit run down. The stairs to the bedroom were steep and awkward, making it less than ideal for anyone not so sprightly. I also missed some basic amenities like herbal teas or hot chocolate — especially during the festive season, come on! it wasn't the Christmas getaway I hoped for.

I did notice slight noise from the nearby road, which occasionally interrupted the peaceful atmosphere.
